1) Confirm your new employer account on RiseKit (if you haven't already)


In order to begin using RiseKit, you must confirm your new employer account through your email address.

2) Post Your Available Jobs to RiseKit


You’ve claimed your account! Now, you can start posting jobs to your employer profile.

3) Receive and Review Interested Candidates


Now that you’ve posted a job opportunity, candidates can interact with them and become interested in the job.
Once a candidate is marked as interested, you will receive a notification and can view his or her user profile, which contains relevant information about the user. 4) Invites to Apply


Once you’ve found candidates who are interested in your job post, you can invite them to apply if they meet the criteria you were looking for.
Sending an invite to apply will also notify the staff member working with the candidate, allowing them to prepare the candidate before the interview/application.

5) Send Messages to Candidates


As an employer, you have the ability to create a message and connect with candidates and the Career Coach that is supporting them. This helps you minimize the time from finding and candidate and getting them to the interview process.

6) Updating Candidate Status (IMPORTANT)


Updating a candidate status has three important benefits to you and the community:

1. It allows you to communicate with the candidate and the staff member supporting them where the applicant is in the hiring process.

2. It provides important data to the participating community organization and allows them to better understand how their candidates are performing. This allows them to improve their operations and aids in building healthier communities.

3. They help you keep track of where candidates sit in the process and coordinate around critical next steps.

Through the employer portal, you can easily change the status by selecting the job post that the candidate is interested in and changing the status from the drop down menu.
