January Release

Group Chat

After collaborating with several customers on how to best update chats between candidates and staff members, we are happy to introduce Group Chat. Group chat enables multiple staff members to collaborate with a singular candidate by inviting unassigned and assigned staff members into a chat room. With group chat, nonprofit staff can rally around a candidate and better serve their needs by introducing additional resources to assist in getting program participants from A to B in their journey to self-efficacy and sufficiency.

To protect the privacy of candidates, we created a tab system on a chat room. The tab system enables staff members to maintain their 1:1, private conversations while easily navigating through group conversations within the same view.

Groups and Teams

Groups and Teams up until this release have lacked explicit management of staff and candidates within a respective group or team. Because of this we are breaking groups and teams into their own functional areas; providing a space to focus on managing the relationships of candidate and/or staff within a team or group.

Export Survey Responses

We know you need your data for auditing and analysis which is why we are introducing exports to surveys. Exporting a survey provides staff members a way to download a paper trail of questions answered by a program participant. Just head over to Surveys, click the overflow menu (3 vertical dots), select 'Export Survey', and you will receive a CSV file via email of the export.

Rich Text in Resource Descriptions

A problem that we have run into often is that resources added to RiseKit may lack clarity and readability because of formatting. Additionally, many resources such as job opportunities are copied and pasted into the description. However, copying and pasting did not maintain the format of the resource such as when the text has bullet points and bold headers. Today, we are introducing Rich Text to all resource descriptions. Many of you are familiar with the way Rich Text works when creating case notes, for those that are not you will be able to add bullet points, numbers, bold text and more. Try it out for yourself! Head over to the resources page and create or edit a resource description you and/or your team have added to your resource board.
