Chat Update

Files, Notes and Resources Oh My!

Chat has been enhanced to provide a fresher design before we release new Group Chat functionality. The updated design provides a more accessible means of accessing files and notes all while communicating with your participants. Additionally, we've added access to resources sent to a participant enabling assigned staff to update resource outcomes without leaving the chat area.

Adding a new Participant

Ever been in the office or the field sending chats to your participants and a potential new participant approaches you? She speaks with you, and through the conversation you determine that should be a good fit for your program. Unfortunately, you can't quickly add her to RiseKit because you are in the middle of a message. If this has ever happened to you then this next feature will help out well, you will be excited to know that today we released the ability to add a candidate on the spot right in chat. You will notice that there have been no changes to the flow of inviting a participant to keep things familiar. All you do is click the "Chat" icon and select "Add New Candidate".

When you reach the last step of the flow, click the "X" in the top right to return to your current chat. We will be adding a new button soon to return back into the chat

Mass Messages

The Mass Messages area received the biggest overhaul. We realized that we need a more succinct, meaningful, reusable way of producing Mass Messages which is why today we are announcing Audiences. An audience is similar to a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel in which the messages you create for a given group, team, or pathway can be revisited to send out new information.
Only one Audience can be created per group, team, or pathway since they are reusable.
