How to Chat with Individual Candidates/Participants



Why does it matter?

RiseKit will help you to improve frontline staff's communication with program candidates/participants. With ever changing circumstances regarding in person interaction, it is crucial to still have a scalable method of supporting your program candidates/participants

Navigation


To access the Chat do the following

Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal
Move your mouse toward the left-hand navigation.
You should see links that show the following options
Organization
Chat
Candidates
Resources
Surveys
Click on "Chat"

When you select the chat tab, you will be directed to all conversations taking place with your candidates/participants. Here you will be able to pick up old conversations or start new ones with candidates/participants logging into RiseKit for the first time.

How to Start a Chat with a New Candidate/Participant
If you want to chat with a candidate/participant who has never been invited to join RiseKit. Select +Candidate in the top left corner.

How to Chat with an Existing Participant
From the chat screen, you will see a list of all candidates/participant conversations. You can scroll through the list to locate the conversation you want or use the search bar to search for the participant's name.
Select the candidates/participant you want to chat with and click on their conversation. This will pop up the chat history and you can
Review all previous messages sent and received (message in light yellow indicate they are mass message sent to that candidate)
Send a new message by typing in the Type your response here section.
Once you've typed your message or added the attachment, click Send Message

The 1:1 chat with the candidate will be labled as the candidate's name. Other conversations (group chat with other non profit organizations or employers, will be titled with the employer's name or a specific group chat title).
