How to Create, View, and Edit Case Notes



Why does it matter?

While much of the program participant information that’s important to you is generated automatically through their answers and actions, you and your colleagues still need a place to enter and share notes. RiseKit makes adding case notes easy by adding options for adding and editing when you need it most.

Navigation


DIRECTORY VIEW

To access the User Directory do the following

Login to your RiseKit account at Staff Portal
Move your mouse toward the left-hand navigation.
You should see links that show the following options
Home
Chat
Pathways
Directory
Resources
Click on "Directory" You should be in the “User Directory” tab. If not, click on “User Directory” in the top left.

To find the participant you are looking for, simply type a first or last name in the search box that says “Search by name, email.”
Click on the program participant’s name. A window with the participant profile will appear.
Click on “Case Notes” to see the most recent notes.

CHAT/CONVERSATION VIEW


Click on “Chat” in the left side menu bar. Use the search bar at the top to find the participant by name.

While in a participant chat window - you can access the "Notes" tab under the participant profile.

HOW TO DOCUMENT OR EDIT A CASE NOTE


To write a new note, click the purple Create Note button. Write your new note and click “Submit.” The note will be saved, along with your name and the date and time of submission.

Example Case Note

If the case note is too long to be viewed in one line of text, click (Expand) to see the entire text

To edit a note, click the purple Pencil icon on the right-hand side of the note that you want to change. Make your changes and green Submit button

To delete a note, click the purple Pencil icon on the right-hand side of the note that you want to delete. Click the red Delete Note in the pop-up screen to confirm.

To view all case notes, select the blue View all ->

From the View All screen, you can edit, delete, or create new case notes.
