The Flight Plan: Your first 30 days with RiseKit

When we talk about getting your organization started with RiseKit, we use the word “launch.” Like any flight, the most important work happens before the aircraft leaves the ground. We work with you to create a comprehensive flight plan for your organization. While each partnership is unique, we always follow the same critical steps.

Journey Mapping: Perhaps your organization has spent years developing a strong participant-centered program. Perhaps your program is new or your team is at a point of transition, and you are considering your options. Either way, RiseKit was built to help you clarify, formalize, and streamline your program(s) in one collaborative platform. Our Community Success team will work with your organization to seamlessly integrate your processes with your RiseKit tools, from the nitty-gritty details of record-keeping to the broad arc of your participant experience.

Build your Custom Pathway(s): After we map your program participant’s journey, we will work together to weave this journey into your RiseKit account. Your team will come away with convenient time-saving automations and opportunities for valuable data.

Create Program Participant Groups: Pretty soon, you will start inviting your program participants to create their own profiles on RiseKit. Of course, your community isn’t “one-size-fits-all.” You have participants in different programs and different cohorts. These groups may work with different staff members, and they have different service and messaging needs. RiseKit allows you to create unique groups and assign your participants to these groups, allowing for customized messaging and program tracking. To learn more about groups, check out this article: How to Create and Add Participants to Groups.

Invite your colleagues to RiseKit and get them trained: Any of your staff members who work directly with program participants should be on RiseKit. To learn how to invite your colleagues to RiseKit, check out this article: Invite Participants to Risekit.

Build your programs and job opportunities into your account: RiseKit was built to streamline communications with your program participants. With your resources in your RiseKit account, a text referral to your participants is only a few clicks away. Here, you can find help creating support services, training programs, and job opportunities: Job Opportunities, Support Services, Training Programs.

Invite your community to join you on RiseKit: Now that you’ve gotten the flight plan worked out, it’s time to launch your community. You can invite groups of program participants and alumni with mass messages, or you can invite them one at a time. View this link for more help: Chat help / Mass Messaging.
